Family Bible Study
3 - 7 June 2019 Family Bible Study:
"Learning from the Giants" - Mentors from the Old Testament
Everyone needs a mentor. A mentor is a special kind of helper who works with others in a positive, constructive way so that both mentor and protégé have the potential to grow through the relationship. Believe it or not, the Bible is replete with mentors for us. For Family Bible study we will learn from Jacob and the importance of letting God have control of our lives. We will learn from Deborah and understanding that God specializes in the unexpected. We will learn from Jonah and that God always gives us a second chance. We will learn from Joshua and that God is greater than our greatest challenges. We will also learn from Daniel and that God has a purpose for us that is bigger than we are!
“Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition…” 1 Cor. 10:11/NKJV
